Inter-Club Jeopardy?

It was early evening on May 11, 2010 and four UCLA engineering clubs had gathered together in Engineering V for a showdown! Members from Society of Women Engineers (SWE), Society of Latino Engineering Students (SOLES), Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AICHE) competed in a jeopardy game hosted by AICHE. The game consisted of questions (100 – 500 points) from six different categories. In the first round, SWE faced off against SOLES. SOLES jumped out to an early lead, but SWE made a good showing and gave SOLES a scare near the end. SWE surprised people with their incredible knowledge of engineering questions, especially organic chemistry. Members from all clubs enjoyed refreshments and were able to socialize with not only members from their own club, but from other clubs as well. There was even a free raffle in between rounds, which gave away UCLA engineering T-shirts. Overall, the jeopardy event was a very enjoyable inter-club social that allowed people to relax while showing a little team spirit for their respective engineering clubs.
